Pro2Kem
was established in Dundee UK to commercialise a number of novel
micro-engineered analysis systems developed by Dr Roger White for the determination of
biopolymer structure. These will
include high performance multi-channel laser light-scattering
detectors and a range of high-speed size separation systems for
measuring molar mass, size, & conformation distributions.
Close
interaction with customers will ensure that product innovation
evolves at a speed that matches market expectations. All
products will be upgradeable at low cost to ensure that
customers can benefit fully from advances in performance.
The
first of these products, the AggreKem® protein aggregation monitor, was officially
launched at the BIO 2003 conference in Washington DC,
and leads the way in rapid protein aggregation monitoring.
In 2006, Pro2Kem was acquired by Boston Instruments, LLC located in Chelmsford, MA. Boston Instruments is an emerging global analytical and life science instrument company, and manages a growing portfolio of world-class companies focused on providing strong technical-based solutions and delivering exceptional products with exemplary service and support.
